In a world often marked by adversity, compassion stands as a beacon of hope. For lifetime partners Brad Kurland and Rob Daniels, compassion is more than just a word—it’s a legacy they are determined to pass on.

They recently became members of the LifeBridge Health Glazer Legacy Society, pledging support for the Center for Hope and LifeBridge Health in their wills and estate documents. Their commitment reflects a desire to make a long-term impact on missions that hold a special place in their hearts.

Brad was born at Sinai, grew up in Greenspring Valley and recently joined the Levindale Board.

Rob worked on several cases for the Baltimore Child Abuse Center (now the Center for Hope) as a young trial attorney and became a member of their Advisory Council in 2020. He recalled, “The pandemic showed us how crucial fundraising is for organizations. We became acutely aware of those in need, made deeper connections and wanted to do more to help.”

Their journey was a powerful transformation. “Life is short, and it’s always good to be prepared, no matter what age you are,” Rob remarked. It was during this transformation that they decided to update their wills.

Brad wants his legacy gift to have a big impact on the community. “I truly feel it’s what sets LifeBridge apart from the other health systems in the area.”

Rob’s vision is to encourage innovation. He loves supporting the Center for Hope’s goal to replicate their model for trauma-informed anti-violence initiatives nationwide.

For others considering legacy gifts, Brad and Rob offer sage advice. “What are you waiting for?” When they asked themselves that same question, it became easy to sit down and make a plan. Join us in celebrating their journey and consider how your own legacy can make a lasting impact on the causes dear to your heart!
